Here are some helpful hints on how to prepare before you hit the studio

SONG DEMO
If you are a solo artists and need studio musicians for your project, make
sure you have your song chords and lyrics written out so that the studio
musicians and/or the sound engineer can follow your song easily. If you are
not totally sure of the final arrangement of the song, (maybe you want two
choruses in the middle instead of one) try to make that decision before you
come in. If you need help arranging a song, we are happy to help you with
that before scheduling your studio time.

If you are a pianist or keyboard player and have access to a portable
sequencer, try to pre-program some of your tracks - make sure you use a
metronome so our engineer can synch the other instruments to your beat.
This will save time in the recording process. If you are not comfortable doing
this, it is no problem at all! We have just found from experience that it saves
time.

CD PROJECT
Before we begin your custom CD project, we want to sit down and meet with
you about your vision for your music ministry. Give us an idea of what you
want your music to accomplish. What audience are you trying to reach? The
more we know about your style and the image you want to convey, the more
we can refine your Cd to accomplish your goal.

If you are not sure which songs you want to put on a CD or what you want
your music to focus on, we can help you with the selection process. Give us
your best 12-20 song and we can help you find the ones that will really shine
on your CD project. We can offer song arrangement and song critique
before beginning your project - that way your songs are in the best form
possible before recording them in permanent form!
