Nancy Brown, who translates the
information in our website from English to
Spanish and provides English
interpretation of our faith stories, provides
sign language interpretation of our music
and songs to the hearing impaired. Nancy
was introduced to sign language in 1989
following a church service. “A class was
offered for anyone interested in learning
to sign, so I decided to stay and attend
the class, just to relieve my loneliness. I
had no idea that God was about to open
my world to one of the most wonderful
gifts – the ability to speak with the deaf.
Since that day, God has called me to
provide sign language at many functions
and events. Every experience has brought
me closer to God.”
Nancy is an instructor of Spanish and
English as a Second Language at
Kennesaw State University’s Center for
Continuing Education. She’s also an
instructor of Spanish for Marietta
Community School’s Adult Continuing
Education Program.
