Tom Harding was born and raised right here in
Atlanta, Georgia. He grew up in a family of faith
and was a member of the United Methodist
church. He began playing guitar at the age of
14 and led his youth group at Kingswood UMC
in praise and song. Slowly, during this time, God
was preparing Tom for his future role as a
worship leader. He started playing with Hickory
Flat UMC praise band in 2000. In 2003 he
became the worship leader at Alpharetta First
UMC for their VineBranch Contemporary
Worship Service. Tom Harding has a passion
for Christ that is evident in his songwriting and
his heart for God. He is a member of Complete
Hope, a praise and worship band that God
brought together to play music and lead worship
for teens in the Youth Detention Centers in and
around North Atlanta. Tom currently lives in
Woodstock with his wife and son and continues
to play guitar and write songs for the Lord. "My
prayer is simple" says Tom, "Lord give me time
to be still, quiet and listen to You. Help me to
recognize Your voice, discern Your will and be
Your servant, forever! Amen!"
Tom co-wrote the song "Gain the World" which
is track number 1 on the new album "Offering"
from Holly Gotfredson.
In addition to being a member of Complete
Hope, Tom is also playing with the all for ONE
band every Sunday at 9am at Hickory Flat UMC
in Canton, Georgia.
