I started out singing in the church choir at a young age and found
that I had been blessed by God with a special gift. I did not know
where that gift would lead me at the time, but continued to use it
every chance that I got.
For many years, I was a soloist in various choirs and specialty
groups. Two of those groups were God Power and Ichthus. God
Power was given the opportunity to tour the US and Canada. This
group was recognized by then Georgia Governor, Jimmy Carter, as
goodwill ambassadors.
After moving to Atlanta, I was accepted as a student by renowed
vocal coach, Andrew Terry, who taught me to realize my full vocal
potential. I had many opportunities to sing in the Atlanta area. Some
of those opportunities led to singing demos at various Atlanta music
studios and would ultimately lead me to Nashville, Tn. I sang demos
for up and coming songwriters there and was a member of the
Nashville songwriters association.
While singing demos at Turn2gold studios, I was given the
opportunity to record the CD entitled "Otherside of Yesterday,"
produced by Rick Logan Fuller.
Having come full circle, I have now "come home" to my Christian
music roots from where I started all those years ago. I am honored
and blessed to be back with Rick working on the CD "Make every
Minute Count" and blessed to be associated with Bob Stewart at
ECA Publishing. He is an amazing musician/producer/composer and
most of all, he is devoted fully to God and His works. The same
wonderful God that blessed me with my gift and who has brought me
to this wonderful place in my life. It's been a great ride so far. I thank
God and I sing for Him.
